Advertising Sales Assistant
Duties: Will assist Legal Advertising Representative with all aspects of Legal Publication handling volume work under pressure of deadlines to meet customers legal requirements.

Qualifications: Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good math and organizational skills necessary. Understanding of web advertisement and standard computer software necessary. Fast and accurate typing 50+ WPM, excellent spelling and ability to proof accurately. Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines.

Application Support Analyst - DTI
Duties: The Application Support - DTI Analyst role is to ensure that production issues relating to the DTI pagination applications are resolved with minimum downtime.

Qualifications:
• 1-3 years experience in a newspaper/publishing, IT/production environment.
• In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with the DTI pagination applications (AdSpeed, ClassSpeed, SpeedWriter, PlanSpeed, ImageSpeed, WireSpeed, PhotoWireSpeed, PageSpeed, SpeedLibrarian, Interface Controllers, and SpeedDrivers).
• In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with multimedia applications (Illustrator/Freehand/CorelDraw, PageMaker, MultiAd Creator, Asura, Photoshop, InDesign/Quark Xpress, Acrobat and Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of graphics formats and compression schemes such as EPS, TIFF, PS, PDF, JPEG, LZW, RLL, BMP, PSD, Flate, DCS, Zip, HQX and Stuffit.
• Understanding of various resolutions of graphics, RGB, CMYK, color profiles, transparency and layers.
• Determine efficient methods for managing external graphical and final ad content (processing, searching, storage, archival) and fonts.
• Resolve workflow related issues, finding ways to automate repetitive tasks (Asura/scripting) and debug publishing problems.
• Support printing issues, graphics issues, ripping issues (which can be separate from printing issues), SpeedDriver problems and converting incoming ad materials to a workable format.
• Experience working with thousands of fonts, font management, font problems and font types (difference between Mac and PC fonts, type 1, type 3, true type, open type).
• Provide back-up to the DTI Classified and A/R systems.
• Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science/engineering, information systems or business administration is preferred.

Art Director
Duties: Must have 6 years of experience in all areas set forth herein. Formulates concepts and supervises workers engaged in executing layout designed for art work and copy to be presented by visual communications media. Reviews illustrative material and confers with individual responsible for presentation regarding budget, background information, objectives, presentation approaches, styles, techniques, and related production factors. Formulates basic layout design concept and conducts research to select and secure suitable illustrative material, or conceives and assigns production of material and detail to artists and photographers. Assigns and directs staff members to develop design concepts into art layouts and prepare layouts for printing. Reviews, approves, and presents final layouts to department head for approval. May also perform some duties of graphic designer to design art layouts. May mark, up paste up and finish layouts to prepare layouts for printing.

Qualifications: Must be completely fluent in the Spanish language with emphasis on Mexican slang for Spanish weekly newspaper as demonstrated by a test to be administered by the employer. Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design. The university degree and transcript must be submitted with the resume. Experience in the use of Quark, PageMaker, Illustrator, Adobe PhotoShop and PC computer platform. Experience in managing and prioritizing a multitude of projects. Experience in juggling multiple projects simultaneously and deal with quick turnaround times. Experience in meeting high-pressure deadlines with high-value product. Must have excellent troubleshooting abilities. Candidate must submit at least 3 samples of work in PDF format. Online Account Executive
Duties: Sales of Online Advertising products and promotions. Offer strategic Internet Advertising to customers. Coordinate ad creative/production processes necessary for client's online placement. Present Statistical online performance to clients. Occasional client bill negotiative intervention.

Qualifications: Minimum 3 to 5 years media sales. Prior internet sales experience in Automotive, Real Estate or Recruitment ideal. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is essential. Strong verbal and written communications required.

Online Niche Products Manager
Duties: Assists in sales development of Niche online sales for print and magazine products, including: lvbusinesspress.com, eltiempo.com, pahrumpvalleytimes.com and elynews.com as well as the Web sites in construction for the magazines -- Luxury and Home and Garden. Available to provide sales consultation to other Stephens Media Group sites. Responsible for developing online/print buys through regular weekly meetings with print sales staff of each Niche product. Work with online sales staff to schedule ads for Niche. Provides statistical reporting to Niche sales staff for customers. Coordinates the Niche online sales effort with the director of online advertising (including online ad billing and rep training and compensation/incentives.)
