It’s all Greek to readers, apparently, who choose this newish counter-service restaurant for the first time in this category. It’s in the growing extreme northwest part of the valley, which makes it convenient to an increasing number of residents, and the efficient service and attractive interior overshadow the counter-service thing. The Hofbrauhaus is a close second.

Oh, and the food! Let’s talk about the food, which is why it’s all Greek to us, too, at least when it comes to this category. Sometimes we’re tempted to start at the end, with Aphrodite’s Cheesecake, but we make sure we leave room for all the rest of the homemade specialties, such as dolmades, pomegranate chicken and moussaka.

I was a regular until tonight Feb 3 2010 . I called to place a carry out tonight around 6:30 and was put on hold for three and a half minutes so I hung up and called back and they wanted to put me on hold again . I told the young man no I had been waiting on hold for over three minutes and his response to me was thats to bad were really busy and I told him that's to bad you've lost me as a customer after he told me he would have to put me on hold again . The service at this location has really slacked off even while eating in at the place . You have lost a longtime customer . You need to put a adult in charge at your Tropical location .

They are packed at lunch, lots of interesting people to look at, atmosphere is really cozy and very Greek Islandish. Got to experience this quaint family owned establishment to really see what its like to be someplace else besides a chain or on the strip.
