Best of Las Vegas 2008 : Hotels : Best Players Club

Reader Pick
STATION CASINOS
Multiple locations

Station Casinos' growth has made its Boarding Pass program almost one-stop shopping for players at all levels. It does keep the wallet thinner to use one card at seven Stations or two Fiestas. The card gives back free slot play without surrendering points, and mere possession of it is good for instant discounts in buffet lines or the previously mentioned comedy club at Palace Station. The MGM Grand, part of the MGM Mirage Players Club, finishes an extreme distant second.

Staff Pick
ELLIS ISLAND CASINO & BREWERY
4178 Koval Lane

As in the past couple of years, we'll go the opposite direction. If you can't compete with the collective convenience of Stations, try the boutique approach of this stand-alone property. It takes care of its players with five-times points every Friday and fills nearly every other calendar day with restaurant discounts, creative promotions, parties and special events

Richard wrote on January 23, 2009 05:33 AM: In the past few years, the Riviera has really come around for their players. This place has the best bartenders in town too, back at the "Splash Bar", especially. We're going out for Super Bowl weekend; I'm hoping that the re-do on the bar is complete!

Harold wrote on April 03, 2008 08:12 AM: I agree with David. Sam's Town is by far the best. Now with upper levels of play, you always get triple points in addition to the frequent multiplier days.

Alex wrote on March 24, 2008 04:58 PM: I have to agree with the Staffs pick. Ellis Island has the Best Players Club. They also have a wonderful, friendly staff from the servers, bartenders to their security guards. The food is Great and reasonably priced. They are very generous with their comps. If they have a special promotion going on and you don't know about it, Cici in the players club booth will tell you about it. I hope Ellis Island is around for a very LONG time!

David wrote on March 23, 2008 07:51 AM: This field was rigged. How can Stations claim title to the best slot club? They do not offer cash back and point multiplier days are few. SamsTown wins hands down. You have your choice of discounted food comps, theater tickets and bowling or cashback. Point multipliers are almost everyday. In addition, SamsTown offers cash bonus play several times per month. The game was rigged by Stations. SamsTown would have won hands down if Stations employees didn't stuff the ballot box.
