Democrat announces candidacy for Assembly District 28

New candidate for Assembly District 28, the seat being vacated by Democrat Mo Denis, who is running for state senate.

Here's the statement from candidate Lucy Flores, a Democrat:

Lucy Flores, Democratic candidate for Assembly District 28, will kick-off her campaign at a community celebration on Saturday, December 5, at Lincoln Elementary School. The District 28 seat is currently held by Assemblyman Mo Denis, who is not seeking re-election to the Assembly.

Flores, who grew up in the district, is currently finishing her final year at Boyd School of Law and currently works at UNLV.

Because of her strong belief that a good education is the key to every child’s success in life, Flores is holding her kick-off at the elementary school she attended.

“I made the decision to run for the Assembly because I understand the challenges that people in this district face every day -- wanting good schools for their children, access to affordable health care, and safe neighborhoods,” Flores said. “I look forward to kicking off this campaign with family, friends and neighbors in the heart of the district.”

WHAT: Lucy Flores to announce candidacy for State Assembly in District 28
WHEN: Saturday, December 5th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
WHERE: Lincoln Elementary School, 3010 Berg Street in North Las Vegas

This is the person who was illegally hired by the fired Christine Clark and took money for improperly acting as a lobbyist for UNLV. I think there were some columns about her. Apparently, according to her testimony at the state legislature, only people who have been oppressed can instruct those same people in our schools. Lucy Flores had explained her positions and definitions for Christine Clark and proposed that Latinos had been oppressed and could only have Latinos as instructors. Pure racism.

Lucy Flores what do you plan on doing about this if you are elected? I propose NOLAN'S LAW and would like to discuss it with you. You may contact me Tonjamasrod40@aol.com On June 24, 2009 and November 19, 2009 Justice Ron Parraguirre chose to protect the wrong doings of the Washoe County DA's office who violated Brady V Maryland when they covered up the evidence that another person committed the crime that Mr. Nolan Klein was convicted of 21 years ago. Parraguirre was given the documents showing the handwritten notes from the prosecuting attorney that he was not going to turn over any of the Materiality or Exculpatory Evidence in Mr. Klein's case showing that someone else was responsible for the crime. The documents were placed on the record during the June 24, 2009 Pardons Board Meeting. Do we want this man reelected who condones the illegal acts of violating BRADY V MARYLAND AT THE EXPENSE OF THE INNOCENT? HE CHOSE TO LET THIS INNOCENT MAN DIE IN PRISON IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE WRONG DOINGS OF THE WASHOE COUNTY DA'S OFFICE WHO HAS ADMITTED TO TESTING MR. KLEIN'S DNA EVIDENCE AND THEN HID THE RESULTS FROM US FOR YEARS.
