Nevada Assembly candidate Halseth says she wants to meet every voter

Let's hope Elizabeth Halseth is a people person.

Halseth announced she's running for Nevada Assembly District 13 seat now held by Republican Chad Christensen, who plans to challenge Republican Dennis Nolan for the Dist. 9 Senate seat.

In a brief chat Tuesday Halseth had ambitious plans to reach out and connect with folks in District 13, which is in southwest Las Vegas.

"I want to meet every voter in District 13 and hear what issues are important to them, and vote that way," she said.

According to the Secretary of State's Web site, that's 104,784 people as of August.

Here's a link to Halseth's Web site.

District 13 covers way more than just southwest Las Vegas.
