They're against it

The Republicans seeking to challenge Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., are flogging health reform legislation that appears on track to clear the U.S. Senate, with Reid as the shepherd who guided the bill to a 60-vote threshold.

Under the headline "What Harry Reid believes," former GOP official Sue Lowden calls the bill a "travesty" and writes: "It unfairly benefits other states by increasing the cost on Nevadans."

Candidate Danny Tarkanian wrote: "As usual, Harry Reid plays Santa Claus for other states but he's the Grinch Who Stole Healthcare for his own constituents in Nevada. Harry Reid's bill, which is a tax-hiking big government boondoggle, is a perfect example of why we should permanently ban pork."

Lowden's entire statement is attached.

Yes we are against it! It's unConstitutional, go John Ensign. Challenge this thing all the way to the Supreme Court. Congress can not mandate that "We the People" have to purchase any item they choose. Regulating commerce and mandating commerce are two completely different things! The framers of the Constitution were very adamant and specific that if it was not specifically enumerated in the Constitution, then Congress does not have the authority.
