Atlantic City report explosive

If you don't think this report will have big ramifications in Las Vegas, you're kidding yourself.

It will not only draw attention to Las Vegas gaming licensing practices, you can bet it will get pulled in somehow to the increasingly wild Harry Reid U.S. Senate race.

Watch the developments on this case. They could be explosive.

That's a yawner. Wal-Mart has extensive ties to china and the youthful slave trade and underage sweatshops. Wal-Mart is also famous for being antiunion; employing illegals and has lost numerous labor lawsuits.

Next, Nike shoes build by Chinese child slaves; film at eleven.

When I opened the RJ this morning, i saw that there was a whole section devoted to the Rebel basketball team who are going to the NCAA tournament along with 64 other teams.

However, when the Philharmonic Orchestra from the Las Vegas Academy for the Performing Arts was selected to attend the Mid-West Conference in Chicago, one of only 4 high schools orchestras in all of the United States to be chosen to attend. There was not one word written about their achievement. These kids work all year to reach this level yet are given no notice by their home town paper. In addition they have performances, are often in another orchestra, have private lesson and practice every day, 365 days, not just a season. I can assure you that if athletes had to work as hard, there would be no sports programs. NOT FAIR!! How about credit where credit is do.

If you have not hear this orchestra you are missing an opportunity see what Las Vegas Kids are really capable of.

Congratulations to the Philharmonic Orchestra from the Las Vegas Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts on their great achievement!Sadly,Sherman Frederick and the right wing editors have nothing positive to say about public schools because they claim they are mediocre and want them to fail and be replaced with private schools. They only support the Rebels because they bring in money for their private sector friends.Again, congratulations on a fantastic achievement and program.

That is, indeed, an achievement worth coverage and I'll talk to the newsroom. Congrats!

Before I get started on NGCB.. Congrats to those kids at the academy. That is a serious accomplishment.

Sherm, Come on and say what you want to say. Stanley Ho is a mobster. His daughter is a mobster associate. Even Lanni admitted Ho was of questionable character.

So what is up with NGCB? Atlantic City is the new standard for how to run a Gaming Control Board? What happened to our NGCB? Politics? Corruption? Incompetence?

Sure wish we had some investigative reporters left in southern Nevada to look into that. Fire Mitchell and hire a few street reporters back. Or just fire Mitchell :)
