Father: Daughter says ‘the allegations are false’ in Sisolak-Vermillion fight

The father of the teen caught in the middle of the battle between Kathleen Vermillion and Steve Sisolak says his daughter has admitted that the accusations against the Clark County commissioner are false.

The teen’s dad, Burt Boutin, has signed an affidavit that would appear to blow holes in the accusations of inappropriate behavior with the 15-year-old that were forwarded by Vermillion, former Henderson city councilwoman, against her ex-boyfriend, Sisolak.

In his affidavit, Boutin is also highly critical of Vermillion’s attorney, Robert Martin, and local public relations specialist Mark Fierro.

Boutin’s statement:

"Over the past days my daughter has become involved in accusations made  against Commissioner Steve Sisolak. These statements are being put forth by my ex-wife, Kathleen Boutin Vermillion along with her attorney, Robert Martin, and her public relations expert, Mark Fierro. Unfortunately they have placed my teenage daughter in the middle of all of this for their own personal benefit.

"For the record I state to you that I have spoken with my daughter about the allegations that have been leveled against Steve Sisolak. She told me the allegations are false. In a desperate move, Kathleen and her advisors managed to coax my daughter into appearing on a video. My daughter thought she was helping her mother and did not realize the harm that it would cause.

"As a final note I would like to add that Steve Sisolak had a five year relationship with Kathleen.  During that time he acted as a gentleman to both of my children and to me. I ask that you respect the privacy of my children and me."

Kudos to Mr. Boutin for bringing this forward---allegations such as these can really damage the accused. Ms. Vermillion and her lawyers should be sued by Sisolak---he will win---big. The bottom feeding scum lawyers that she "convinced" to film the daughter SHOULD be criminally charged and disbarred !

Burt Boutin is a pro Poker player and an upstanding member of our Society. I believe what he is saying, it just shows that his ex wife is a lier who got caught embezzling

manipulating of children makes me angry. Victims often recant from pressure. Hope that is not the case. False accusations are as bad as actual sexual assault on children.

Is anyone really surprised by this? These allegations were brought forth by VERMINillion for no other reason than to take away from the fact she embezzled God knows how much money from her charity. Which brings me to my next point: with all the money she embezzled and her inflated sense of self one would think she would fix that hideous face. Ick!

Can someone explain to me exactly why Ms. Vermillion's representatives were requesting $3.9 from Mr. Sisolak? If she feels there is some legitimate criminal allegation against Mr. Sisolak, I would imagine she would call Metro? Has she? Again, what is the $3.9 exactly for? She, her attorney, and her public relations don't pass the smell test for me? Anybody else get the same vibe?

Finally someone has come forward to defend the actions of this underage girl who has obviously been manipulated by her mother in a desperate effort to extort money. I felt from the beginning when this story was first released that was the case. I have no knowledge of who Mr. Boutin is or what his profession may be, but I applaud his courage in coming forward to defend his daughter's actions which were obviously the result of her mother's vendetta against Mr. Sisolak. This entire matter should now perhaps be turned over to juvenile authorities who can best represent the interests of this woman's children, because obviously she is only interested in her own agenda, not their quality of life.

I must acknowledge Mr. Boutin for doing the right thing. Being a parent is leading by example... You gave your daughter a gift by coming forward with the truth and setting her free of the guilt she has felt... Ms. Vermillion your actions have been corrupt, immoral, and disgusting... STOP this insanity get medical help and save what ever is salvageable with your relationship with your daughter and son. There should be strict  formal consequences from the State bar of Nevada handed down to Ms. Vermillion's attorney Robert Martin.. Your actions were criminal with minor... Public relations specialist Mark Fierro you should be ran out of town... You took Ms. Vermillion's daughter and manipulating her to lie for your own personal and financial benefits with no regards to the long term effect this will have on  this young lady.... Your actions are disgraceful... Mr. Sisolak I'm sorry your  family and you have been put through all this... You have my support along with so many others...
