Rebels looking to move football season opener
UNLV is in talks with Minnesota to move its season-opening football game from Saturday, Sept. 1 to Thursday, Aug. 30.
The Rebels requested the switch, and they hope to receive an answer soon.
UNLV would prefer to get off the Labor Day weekend in hopes of drawing a larger crowd to Sam Boyd Stadium.
