A coalition of consumer protection and free market groups, including the Competitive Enterprise Institute, has called on Congress to pass legislation legalizing Internet gambling in the United States. The coalition said legislation establishing legal and regulated online gambling platforms would be the best way to protect the public against fraud, underage use and problem gambling.

Is it time for Congress to consider legislation to allow regulated online gambling in the U.S.?
