Pulte Group has selected Professional Community Management of California to manage eight homeowner associations in the Las Vegas Valley and Mesquite with nearly 11,000 homes on completion, the Lake Forest, Calif.-based management firm.

The company hired Randy Watkins as vice president of Nevada management and has recruited former Pulte Group staff to manage the communities, officials said Friday.

As a community management company, PCM serves as an agent to the association board of directors, providing budget guidance, communicating with the board and residents, coordinating community projects, and managing vendors and services.

@Judy: Do you seriously think California managment companies don't conduct "illegal and immoral activities" also? There are rotten eggs in every organization but not all Nevada management companies are crooked.

Doc - I too advocate for hiring within Nevada however, in this situation, I would never hire a Nevada firm. I have witnessed first hand the illegal and immoral activities that HOA management firms in Nevada operate under. They are rife with graft and mismanagement.

Ah, "The Doc", if you haven't noticed these past few years, Nevada, esp Clark County and Nye County has a white-collar crime problem. The DA's are on the take and get drunk, crazy contracts are approved by idiotic city councils and county commissioners, some of whom landed their royal behinds in prision, high-profile lawyers are pretty shady, cops that once worked fraud, worked fraud, and now teach our kids, the HOA's have been run over by a gang of lawyers, see previous comment, some cops, one of which committed suicide over the scandal (guilt working at its best) and other little piccadillos. I say go out of state for your medical care and go out of state for your property management.

Hell, I say, "Go out of state. Go west young person, or go east, but go!"
