The developer of Tivoli Village shopping center plans to break ground in late 2013 on Las Vegas Renaissance, a 700,000-square-foot enclosed shopping mall in western Las Vegas.

EHB Cos. announced the project in late April at the opening of the $700 million Tivoli Village at Rampart Boulevard and Alta Drive.

The mall is planned for 23 acres that was part of Boca Park shopping center developed by Triple Five Development. EHB purchased the bank-owned land in October 2010 for $11.8 million.

The $350 million Renaissance mall will begin construction after completion of Tivoli Village's 500,000-square-foot second phase. The mall's opening is targeted for the 2015 holiday season. It will connect to Tivoli via a walkway over Alta.

"As we continue to build upon Tivoli Village's unique offerings, we look to the future of West Las Vegas as a prominent retail destination," EHB Chief Executive Officer Yohan Lowie said Tuesday in a statement. Tivoli Village, Renaissance and Boca Park will define the corridor along Rampart as a shopping, dining and entertainment destination with more than 3 million square feet of retail, he said.

Renaissance's architecture, inspired by the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele mall in Milan integrates Old World architectural elements into exterior and storefront facades, the developer said.

EHB, in a joint venture with IDB Group, also developed One Queensridge Place high-rise condos at the southwest corner of Alta and Rampart.

The European-style Tivoli Village has 225,000 square feet of boutique stores and restaurants and 145,000 square feet of office space. The second phase is expected to be finished by the 2013 holiday season. A third phase of residential development has been shelved indefinitely.

Amazing Plan!! I love the idea of a skywalk over Alta. They should get appoval for a skywalk over Rampart to allow Queensridge residents to walk there!! That would be great, involve less cars and be good for exercise.

What about the shopping mall behind Red Rock casino? It was started and then stopped mid construction.

Summerlin and West Las Vegas residents want a mall with an anchor store, i.e. Nordstroms, Macys, not high end big ticket shops.
Shopping at Tivoli Village is for tourists not residents. The only reason to go to Tivoli Village is to eat.

Finish the Red Rock mall and watch them come.

Finally....tenants and shoppers of the "ghettos mall" (meadows mall) will welcome this fresh, new shell to display their products for sale....when this mall is done, so is the meadows mall....some great memories of hanging out there as a kid in the 80's....oh well, I won't miss driving there during the holidays, that's for sure...

@couch potato, Mormons? they have nothing to do with ownership. High dollar guys from Israel own it. I know, I supplied all the irrigatin for Tivoli Village AND the Queensridge Towers. Get your facts straight. It will be a nice addition finishing building on that corner with a nice mall to tie it all together.
