Rick 'Cowboy' Maples hangs his hat at Chapman

New to the Chapman family, but not an unfamiliar face to Las Vegas car buyers, Rick "Cowboy" Maples can now be found assisting customers at the Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealership on East Sahara Avenue and Mojave Road. Known to his friends and clientele as "Cowboy," Maples has been living in Las Vegas for more than 40 years and selling cars for nearly 20. During that time, he has helped an estimated 6,000 people purchase cars and amassed a large following of loyal customers.

Though he recently joined the Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep team, Maples has previously worked for several Dodge dealerships in Las Vegas and is knowledgeable about Dodge products. Maples chose to join the Chapman team because of the company's sincere care for their customers and the friendly, familylike atmosphere.

  • "At Chapman, they don't markup their prices like other dealerships and there are no hidden costs," Maples said. "It's one of the few dealers in town that truly cares about their customers and wants them to get a fair deal."

Maples was also impressed with the Chapman Automotive Group's large offering of different vehicle makes and models from its 19 dealerships in Nevada and Arizona. With such a wide availability of products, Maples is able to provide his large following of customers with almost any type of vehicle they request.

It's Maples' dedication to superior service and his eagerness to serve the needs of his customers that keeps them returning and referring their friends and family to him. For Maples, there are few tasks too demanding. He has delivered vehicles to buyers in Northern Nevada, California, Colorado and Arizona. He even picked up a customer whose car was broken down on Mount Charleston then towed their car down the mountain. True to his nickname, Maples is the go-to salesman for the people who organize and participate in the National Finals Rodeo each year. One of Maples's regular customers, a man from Florida, flies into Las Vegas for the NFR and buys a new truck every year.

"Maples has built tremendous loyalty with his customers and we are thrilled to have him on the Chapman team," said Don Hamrick, general manager of Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep. "I know he's someone I can trust to treat our customers right and his larger-than-life cowboy persona is a fun addition to our dealership."

Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep is located on 3175 E. Sahara Ave. Chapman Dodge can be reached at 800-NewDodge and online at www.LasVegasDodge.com.

Now he boasts about Chapman when in reality they were the only Dodge Dealer left who would hire him. So far, he has worked for Gaudin Ford, Integrity Dodge at U.S. 95, Desert Dodge, Integrity Dodge Chrysler Jeep at the 215, United Dodge at US 95 and now Chapman. Does that sound like a quality salesman to you?
