On Oct. 13, 2006, Chrissy Mazzeo contacted the Las Vegas Metro Police Department via 9-1-1 and reported that U.S. Congressman Jim Gibbons, a political candidate for Nevada governor, allegedly made inappropriate and unwanted sexual advances to her while at a restaurant.
