Paul Papa will sign and discuss "It Happened in Las Vegas: Remarkable Events That Shaped History" at noon Friday at Barnes & Noble, 567 N. Stephanie St., Henderson.

Willie Rizzo will sign and discuss "The Life and Times of Jilly Rizzo" at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mastrioni's Cafe, 3330 S. Hualapai Way.

EVENTS

The Amazing Reads Book Club meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month at West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd.

The SNAFFU Science Fiction Book Club meets at 2 p.m. the fourth Sunday of the month at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

The Cover 2 Cover Book Club meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month at Rainbow Library, 3150 N. Buffalo Drive.

The Sahara West Book Discussion Group meets at 7 p.m. the last Thursday of each month at Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

The Henderson Writers Group meets at 6:30 p.m. the second and fourth Mondays of the month at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

STORY TIMES

Story time with music and crafts is offered Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and the second Saturday of the month at Barnes & Noble, 567 N. Stephanie St., Henderson.

Story time in the Square is offered at 11 a.m. Wednesdays in Children's Park at Town Square Las Vegas, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
