  • * Florida police officers are caught on video playing a suspect's Wii bowling game during a nine-hour drug bust. This is what happens when the sum total of your police training is long sessions with "Grand Theft Auto."

    * Children's Health magazine names Las Vegas one of the 10 worst cities in which to raise a family. How come whenever we make a top 10 list, it always ends up being the bottom top 10?

    * Britney Spears surprises fans by singing Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know" during a North Carolina concert. As incongruous as a kindergarten theatrical production of "Medea."

    * A Las Vegas company, Dinner in the Sky, allows diners to enjoy dinner and drinks around a table that has been lifted 150 feet into the air by a crane. At least cleaning up after sick diners is easier than it would be in a real restaurant.
