Palms’ 24 Seven Cafe has something for everyone, anytime

You’re waiting to see a show at the Palms, and you’ve got some time for dinner. You don’t want anything too fancy, but you’re not exactly feeling the food court either.

Poke your head inside the 24 Seven Cafe, 4321 W. Flamingo Road, and you’ll find just about everything from breakfast and burgers to salad and salmon.

The decor here is pretty no-frills, but the food is reasonably priced with a daily specials menu that features items such as $14 steak and eggs, $12 Chinese chicken salad, $14 mahi mahi sandwich and a $9 house-battered chicken tenders basket served with loads of fries.

A dessert special, The Milk n’ Cookies ($8), features a vanilla bean milkshake served with batter fried chocolate chip cookies — but be warned, this special is more than enough to share with two people.

Weekly specials are: Monday, grilled eggplant Parmesan with fresh mozzarella and capellini pasta ($13); Tuesday, Carolina pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and fries ($16); Wednesday, beer-braised pot roast with mushroom gravy and garlic mashed potatoes ($16); Thursday, grilled chicken Parmesan with whole wheat spaghetti ($15); Friday, fish and chips with malt vinegar slaw ($15); and Sunday, chicken and black bean quesadilla ($14).

Sandwiches on the pages-long menu include comfort food such as Mile-High Meatloaf ($14), Melting Tuna ($12) and Pastrami Royal with cheese ($14).

Sides include Parmesan fries, grilled asparagus, spicy broccoli rabe and roasted garlic mashed potatoes for $5 each.

For those looking for lighter fare, there are a variety of salads — the Roasted Beet ($12) features organic spinach, roasted beets, fresh mandarin oranges, roasted red onion, goat cheese, almonds and orange poppy seed dressing with an option to add grilled chicken, salmon or a balsamic-marinated portobello mushroom cap — lemon and thyme roasted salmon ($17) and a Tipsy Turkey burger ($12).

The 24 Seven Cafe never closes. Call 702-953-7682 or view the full menu at palms.com/24-seven-cafe.html.
