PLAYER'S EDGE: Red Rock Resort awarding free play every minute from 7 to 9 p.m.

Today and Nov. 21, Red Rock Resort is giving away $6,000 in free play and having a $19,000 cash drawing. Every minute from 7 to 9 p.m., the casino will award $50 free play to a randomly selected player. At 9:15 p.m., the casino will select 10 players to win up to $5,000. Players can earn entries for the drawings at the slots and tables and receive 3x entries on Mondays-Wednesdays.

Every Wednesday evening in November, Terrible's is drawing the names of 30 players (who must be present) and giving them either $300 (cash or free play) or an envelope containing $100-$10,000. Players Club members receive one entry for every 250 points ($250 coin-in) earned on their cards.

  • Through Thursday, you can go "Rockin' and Shoppin' " at the Hard Rock Hotel. Members earning 5,000 points ($1,000 coin-in on slots, $2,000-$6,000 coin-in on video poker; no point redemption required) receive gift certificates (value varies per outlet) to the Hard Rock retail store, Love Jones, Rocks the Jewelers, or Rock Spa. Players also may choose additional free play in lieu of a certificate. Players earning 25,000 points will receive a $200 gift card to Neiman Marcus.

    El Cortez players now can earn entries for the casino's $25,000 "Cash is King" contest on Dec. 20. Players receive one entry for every 5,000 base points earned ($5,000-$15,000 coin-in) in November and must be present at the 3 p.m. drawing to win.

    All day today, Eastside Cannery players earning 1,750 C.A.N. points ($584 coin-in on slots, $875 coin-in on video poker; no point redemption required) will receive $10 free play and a $10 credit voucher good at any of the casino's restaurants. Players earning 999 points on Monday will receive a slot machine trinket box containing up to $1,000 in cash. Limit one gift per customer per day.

    Players earning 1,999 C.A.N. points ($667 coin-in on slots, $1,000 coin-in on video poker; no point redemption required) on Saturday at the Cannery will receive a special long-sleeve logo shirt. Those earning 999 points on Monday will receive a trinket treasure box containing up to $1,000 in cash, and on Wednesday, players earning 499 points will receive a hot cocoa kit. Limit one gift per customer per day. Please note that although the Cannery and Eastside Cannery players club have the same name, they are not linked at this time.

    RED ROCK TOO EXPENSIVE wrote on November 14, 2008 09:24 AM: This hotel is way overblown and over-rated. It never should have been built in a residential area. Red Rock is far too expensive, as almost all casino have become under corporation greed.
