Farmer's market hosts Strawberry Festival

The Summerlin Strawberry Festival is scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the farmers' market at The Gardens Park, 10401 Gardens Park Drive, near Town Center Drive and Desert Inn Road. Admission is free. Activities that involve strawberries will include a toss, race, recipe competition, chef demonstrations and a shortcake-eating contest.
