Restaurant week to benefit needy

High-profile restaurants on and off the Strip will participate in Las Vegas Restaurant Week Sept. 2-8. Three-course dinners will be offered for $50.07 per person, with part of the proceeds going to Las Vegas-based Three Square, a nonprofit organization that serves an average of 3,000 meals a week to elderly people and those in need.     Roy's Restaurants at 620 E. Flamingo Road and 8701 W. Charleston Blvd. have introduced a three-course summer prix-fixe menu for $35, plus tax and tip.     Ra Sushi at Fashion Show mall, 3200 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has added 14 dishes to its menu, including crispy rock shrimp on greens with ginger-teriyaki dipping sauce, pineapple chicken, kiwi scallop sashimi and the Yellow Monkey Roll, with roasted red peppers, marinated artichoke, cream cheese, rice, seaweed, mango and cashew nuts.
