These are separate booking photos of Paris Hilton and Cy Waits, which were released Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Hilton was arrested on suspicion of felony cocaine possession and Waits, 34, was arrested on misdemeanor suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Smoke wafting from a Cadillac Escalade on the Las Vegas Strip set off Paris Hilton's latest legal troubles when a motorcycle officer who suspected the smell was marijuana stopped the vehicle and police say a bag of cocaine later fell out of the 29-year-old socialite's purse.

It's the second time this year Hilton has been arrested on drug possession allegations, although authorities in South Africa dropped marijuana charges earlier this summer. In 2007, Hilton pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving and was sentenced to 45 days in jail.

This time, the hotel heiress was with her boyfriend, Las Vegas nightclub mogul Cy Waits, who manages a club inside the Wynn Las Vegas and was driving the black SUV that the officer stopped nearby at 11:22 p.m. Friday.

Sorry, but I just don't understand the obsessions that both "fans" and the media have with this nobody. She is dumb as a box of rocks, she is talentless, she's butt-ugly (in my opinion), she contributes NOTHING to society.....I could go on and on. Her relatives have money---lots of it. So other than that, what it is about her that people find fascinating? Is it because people admire her? Or is it because people like watching a train wreck. I suppose I can understand the train wreck argument, but are there people out there who truly admire a loser like her? It just boggles my mind that this bimbo gets attention. (By the way, as a retired police officer myself, I am APPALLED that Ms. Hilton was given her purse BEFORE it was thoroughly searched by a police officer. That violates every rule for officer survival that I know. Was she given special treatment? If so, that is ridiculous.).

This Waits guy has to be a complete idiot. He had everything going his way and could have 95% of the good looking woman in Vegas. He lets a little ugly, skinny skank take him out. Steve Winn will fire him yesterday. This guy is nuts.

Her families money will insulate her from any harsh penalties. It's good to be wealthy as they can buy their way out usually. They're not held to the same bar as we are.

As far as so called nightclub manager Cy Wait goes...here today, gone tomorrow.
