HLF was designated as a terrorist organization by the EU and the US. (US Dept. of Treasury, December 2001)

One of CAIR's founders, Omar M. Ahmad, is quoted in a speech:"Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant, that the Koran should be the highest authority in America, and that Islam should be the only accepted religion on Earth." (San Ramon Valley Herald, 7/4/1998)
