CORRECTION ON 03/28/08 -- A photo with the Vegas Confidential column Wednesday incorrectly identified a model walking a runway as being Sarah Larson, the former Las Vegas cocktail server who has been romantically linked to actor George Clooney. According to The Associated Press, the model pictured was not Larson.

NORM: Larson bringing glamour home

Another day, another runway for rising model Sarah Larson.

Fresh from being a media darling at L.A. Fashion Week, George Clooney's Academy Award date will add some starpower to the Clark County Medical Society Alliance Pucci Fashion Show on April 9.

Larson, who has made Las Vegas the base for her modeling career, will help unveil Pucci's spring collection at the Four Seasons Hotel.

At Los Angeles, she modeled Ashley Paige swimwear.

    MOTION DENIED

Our name came up in local court Monday.

Citing our March 9 column, attorneys sought a change of venue and a gag order in an excessive force lawsuit involving Rumjungle at Mandalay Bay.

Attorneys for the defendants said in a motion that our story about the case was prejudicial and "could potentially poison the jury pool or even cause a mistrial."

The defense took issue with my conclusion that the trial was "likely to shine more light on aggressive tipping practices and unreported income" at a time when the nightclub industry is under a magnifying glass.

Judge David Wall denied the motion, and the trial proceeded.

Clooney's done with her wrote on March 26, 2008 11:10 PM: That's NOT her. I mean, this girl is FUG too, so don't get me wrong. But that's not her. Her thighs are smaller and her face is more gaunt. Same nasty overbite, though. Sheesh. Can't we hear the end of her already? She's old hat and no one cares. Go back to stripping or whatever. Your 15 minutes are up.

Rich Jr wrote on March 26, 2008 09:22 AM: Norm, Sarah Larson is as much a model as I am a Chippendale's dancer. The only reason these shows are allowing her to 'model' for them is in hopes of getting Clooney to show up for publicity. Tell it like it is: she is a "former" call-girl/Playboy club waitress that is the toy of the moment for a famous actor - that's all.
