A man accused of stabbing another man to death in Cleveland earlier in the month was arrested by federal marshals in downtown Las Vegas on Tuesday.
Hakim Crymes, 30, was in the Clark County Detention Center on Wednesday awaiting extradition to Cleveland on allegations of stabbing Cleveland resident Larry Powell multiple times on May 4.
Powell died from his injuries the next day, said officials with the U.S. Marshals' district of Nevada office.
Acting on a tip from marshals in Cleveland, marshals in Nevada arrested Crymes at the Town Lodge Motel downtown.
The marshals, who were with the Nevada Fugitive Investigative Strike Team, or FIST, made the arrest within 24 hours of receiving the tip from Cleveland officials.
