NORM: Pure speculation follows IRS raid

There's buzz surrounding the IRS raid almost six months ago at Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace and Pure Management Group's headquarters on Industrial Road.

One of the questions that will be answered is whether there's any substance to the story that more than $5 million in cash was found in a storage shed of a top executive.

The legendary Hollywood talent agent, manager, producer and studio head died Thursday, about the time Brady was starting his show. Brady told me Friday that Brillstein was "my guardian angel ... and like family." Brillstein sought out Brady about eight years ago, and they worked together for five years. "He saw a guy who was a throwback," Brady said. He was an old-school show business cat, a gentleman who did business with a handshake. No double deals. That age is gone; it's now officially over."

And, last time I checked, they don't award Emmys to clueless TV reporters. Why not appreciate Alicia's accomplishments & her hometown roots, & quit being so jealous & small-minded.

I see another alicia jacobs story.. who cares! just another bimbo lucky to be employed in the 79th market of TV.. does anyone remember the lingurie model use to do news in the 90s, I thought she was bad.. Jacobs is Clueless.... I hear they have to rewrite her stories 4 times a day....

ed wrote on August 10, 2008 08:24 PM: Obviously, Alicia Jacobs is someone people want to know about. Every time she's mentioned in Norm's article, she gets lots of reader posts. Norm's no fool, he knows who we want to read about. And why not? Alicia is a beauty!

Val wrote on August 10, 2008 08:19 PM: Why does the same woman always slam & insult Alicia Jacobs? (yes, of course it's a woman!)
What could you possibly find wrong with her? Most women who look like her, wouldn't bother to work hard at a career..they just mooch off of wealthy men!
Alicia is beautiful, smart, & classy. Like her or not, you can't deny her attributes.

GOOGLE wrote on August 10, 2008 07:26 PM: Every time I google Alicia Jacob's name, STD clinics pop up... what's up with that?

fyi..try doing a GOOGLE search on Alicia Jacobs, & you'll see plenty of interest & press, aside from Norm's column.
Guess Norm is just smart enough to jump on the right bandwagon. Las Vegas is certainly interested in beautiful Alicia!
