Weather: the state of the atmosphere with respect to heat or cold, wetness or dryness, calm or storm, clearness or cloudiness

So what we learn from this is that climate is an average of atmospheric states (weather) over many years.

I find it to be absolutely ridiculous that climate change skeptics use one data point to dismiss the theory. If you don't believe it, fine, but get some real evidence to support your claim instead of cherry picking to find the one outlier to dismiss the whole theory.
