Clinton planning campaign visit

Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign has announced the details of the Democrat's upcoming visit to the Las Vegas area.

The New York senator will appear at noon Wednesday at Canyon Springs High School at 350 E. Alexander Road in North Las Vegas for a town hall meeting open to the public, the campaign said.

  • Those wishing to attend the free event can call the campaign's local headquarters at 664-1040; visit www.hillaryclinton.com/lasvegas; or pick up tickets starting Saturday at the headquarters, located at 1055 E. Tropicana Ave., Suite 425.

    Tickets also will be available at AFL-CIO offices, state Democratic Party headquarters and the campaign of Ricki Barlow for Las Vegas City Council.
