NORM: Anderson marks No. 40 in big bash

A tickled-pink Pamela Anderson celebrated her 40th birthday Las Vegas-style: amid wall-to-wall pink flowers, a sparkler-topped pink cake and enough champagne to float a small boat.

The party started as soon as Anderson and illusionist Hans Klok finished their second performance Saturday of "The Beauty of Magic" at Planet Hollywood Resort.

  • Klok presented the Playboy icon, who joined the show last month as Klok's assistant, with a rare book written by Houdini, the greatest magician of all.

More than 100 friends, including her parents and ex-husband Tommy Lee, attended the private party hosted by Planet Hollywood owner Robert Earl in The Living Room, the mezzanine-level nightclub, which is opening soon.

Earl had surprised Anderson by filling her suite with dozens of pink bouquets.

Revelers included photographer David LaChappelle, celebrity bodyguard Chuck Zito, former "Zumanity" performer Jesus Halfanimal, and cast and crew.

Earlier, Anderson and Lee's two sons spent two days with them, seeing her perform magic with Klok for the first time. "The kids loved it. They think they have the super-coolest mom of all time," an eye spy said.
