Bicyclist, 85, who died after collision ID'd

An 85-year-old bicyclist who died after being struck by a car May 13 was identified Thursday by the Clark County coroner's office as Las Vegan Canh Nhan Dang.
Police said Dang was riding on Decatur Boulevard near Tropicana Avenue when he crossed into the path of a Ford Escort going north on Decatur. The collision occurred at 9:47 a.m.
Dang went through the car's windshield, injuring the driver, Crystal Hasty, 22, of Las Vegas. She was unable to stop the car and purposely struck a row of parked cars to avoid entering the intersection, police said.
