Red Flag air combat training exercises scheduled at Nellis

Military jet noise might increase over the Las Vegas Valley and part of Southern Nevada during a Red Flag air combat training exercise that is scheduled to run through Aug. 31 out of Nellis Air Force Base.

"Flights involving more than 100 aircraft from the B-52 Stratofortress to the F-16 Fighting Falcon will be departing and returning to Nellis over the next few weeks," base officials said in a statement released Monday.
