Burned body found near Henderson Airport

A charred body was found about 8:30 this morning by two Henderson police patrol officers at the side of Larson Lane near Las Vegas Boulevard South.

Police said they didn't know the gender or identification of the body, and they are treating the case as a homicide.

  • They are looking into whether there is any link to two scorched bodies found shot to death off state Route 160 early last week.

    Mounted police were brought into the remote desert area, which is south of the Henderson Airport, to determine whether there are any other bodies.
