How can a person use the words Morals and Intelligence when describing elected Officials? Just about everyone of our elected officals is in it for their own personal financial gain. A Government by the People for the People went out the window years ago. If for a moment you think these people have your best interests in mind think again. Standing up for the liitle guy in our society is political suicide, especially when it comes to raising campaign funds.
People who revert to the bible as their main reasoning for the ban on gay marriage need to read a little deeper into the newspaper from time to time. Lets all be reminded about the Hypocoricy of the Catholic Church. They say gay marriage is wrong, yet how many of God's Servents have been engaging in homosexual activity usually with young boys. Tales of these affairs date back a great number of years.
If you are against it thats fine, put your bible away, and come to the table with some real reasons as to why its wrong. Tell us what you are really afraid of. We are 100 days into the presidency of the First Black President in our history, and how many people really thought that would happen in their lifetime?
