North Las Vegas police probe suspicious death

North Las Vegas police are investigating the suspicious death of a 70-year-old man whose body was found inside his Ferrell Street home Tuesday.

Police were alerted after a landscaper noticed an unusual odor coming from the residence. The man was identified as Reinhard Ehlert.

  • Ehlert’s vehicle, a maroon 2001 Dodge Ram truck, is also missing.

    Anyone with information about Ehlert or his vehicle is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 385-5555 or the Police Department at 633-9111.

    I'm Hispanic and have never killed anyone for a vehicle. A criminal is a criminal no matter the race. You see every race has their "creeps".
