Gibbons, first lady fail to reach accord in divorce

RENO — No settlement agreement was reached in Gov. Jim Gibbons' divorce case today after 5 and a half hours of closed-door talks with a Washoe County judge.

The governor and first lady Dawn Gibbons failed to approve a proposed settlement that would give her a monthly support payment and their Reno home -- on the market for $1.1 million -- and would give him property they own in Lamoille.

When are these two wingnuts gonna say adios to Nevada? Isn't Arizona nice year round?

politics is a &h!+ Magnet wrote on October 14, 2009 07:16 PM: How much longer are we going to have to put up with this pathetic cast of characters? Jim, Dawn, John, Cindy, Doug, and their handlers prove the old adage that politics is a &h!+ magnet!

Maybe Ensign Can Set Jimbo Up with Cyndy Hampton wrote on October 14, 2009 07:14 PM: Hey, maybe John Ensign can help his good buddy Jim Gibbons out. Would Cyndy Hampton be interested in a date with the Goobner? A chick who would date a loser like Ensign might be impressed by a wackjob like Gibbons; she's obviously not very picky.
