LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL
Harrah’s Entertainment is permanently closing Bill’s Lake Tahoe Casino on Jan. 4, the company confirmed today.
The 22-year-old casino-only property is closing because of declining business, dating back to before the economic downturn, Harrah’s spokesman John Packer said.
Bill’s 11 employees will be offered jobs elsewhere in the company.
Harrah’s Entertainment owns the 510-room Harrah’s Lake Tahoe and the 740-room Harveys Lake Tahoe near Bill’s, which operated 310 slot machines in a 18,000-square-foot casino and a small restaurant.

It looks like the word operated may have been better written as operates.
Worth noting is that this stand alone casino in that location apparently has not generated enough business to justify staying open, even before the recession.
Who would have thought that at some point a casino would not generate enough revenue to justify it's existence?
WHAT IN THE WIDE WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS IS THIS STORY TALKING ABOUT?
IS IT OPERATED, PAST TENSE OR OPERATES, PRESENT TENSE WITH REGARD TO 310 SLOTS.
IS ELEVEN EMPLOYEES CORRECT AND ARE THE EMPLOYEES AND HARVEY'S CONNECTED AS CLOSING. PLEASE CLARIFY AS THIS MIGHT BE THE MOST CONFUSING AND VAGUE STORY THE RJ EVER PRINTED
