A 26-year-old man died early Friday when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a 2001 Chevrolet truck on Craig Road near N. 5th Street, North Las Vegas police said.

The driver of the truck fled the scene of the crash, which occurred about 12:20 a.m. Emmanuel Gordian, 21, was arrested about three hours later and booked into the North Las Vegas Detention Center on one felony count of reckless driving with death and one count of leaving the scene of an accident with death.

Investigators said Gordian was traveling in excess of 100 mph on eastbound Craig Road when the collision occurred. Alcohol may have been a factor.

The victim, who was not identified by police, was also traveling eastbound. He was thrown from the 2006 Suzuki motorcycle he was riding. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another drunk, speeding Mexican kills another driver. Happy they caught the bas*ard. Too many of his kind have damaged blockwall fences all throughout eastside Las Vegas. Ranch Drive alone, between Washington and Vegas Drive, drunk Mexican speeding drivers have driven through the blockwall fences on the east and west sides of Rancho street in that small stretch about 10 times in the past year. They get drunk, and go speeding through the residential areas, and side streets. There aren't any cops to catch them, because Goodman has them all patrolling Downtown. Drunk, speeding Mexican males between 16 and 40 are a BIG Vegas problem, that politicians dare not address. Metro start catching these drunk, speeding Mexicans, or we citizens will do your job for you.
