UNLV’s impressive 88-74 victory of 12th-ranked BYU on Saturday afternoon not only earned the Runnin’ Rebels a share of first place in the Mountain West Conference but also a spot in the Top 25 rankings for the first time since December.
The Rebels (19-4, 7-2) came in at No. 23 in this week’s Associated Press media poll and No. 25 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches’ Poll.
