Search warrant aimed at drugs found at Jackson's deathbed

Authorities in Los Angeles searched a Las Vegas pharmacy in August looking for documents linking drugs found at Michael Jackson's deathbed to Dr. Conrad Murray, according to a search warrant unsealed today.

Murray told investigators he was giving the pop star a powerful anesthetic, Propofol, each night to help him sleep, the document said.

    • The Los Angeles County coroner ruled Jackson died from lethal levels of Propofol.

    During searches of Murray's Las Vegas home and medical office in July, investigators found a receipt for the purchase of Propofol and other drugs from Applied Pharmacy Services in Las Vegas. They searched the pharmacy, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, looking for paperwork to solidify the link, the document said.
