The Clark County Republican Party is encouraging registered GOP voters to preregister for the presidential caucuses to avoid lines and ensure they know their correct precinct location.

The county has about 1,100 election precincts, and the outlines of most of them have changed because of redistricting this year. Republicans need to use their home addresses to find out their new precinct number and learn where they are supposed to gather to caucus on Saturday.

Members of the different precincts caucus together in neighborhood meetings to discuss their favorite candidates, elect delegates to the county convention and vote for their picks on Saturday.

The Clark County GOP caucuses start at 9 a.m. Doors open at 8 a.m.

There is a special 7 p.m. caucus for observant Jews and Seventh-day Adventists who hold Saturday sacred. That site is at the Adelson Education Campus in Summerlin. Doors open at 6 p.m.

To preregister or find your precinct caucus site, go to www.ccrp2012caucus.org.

If you have no computer access, call the Clark County Republican Party at 702-258-9184.

Clark County will have 38 regular caucus sites on Saturday. They are:

Before you cast your vote tomorrow be advised: Gingrich is not on the ballot in 3 states and is missing 545 delegates. Santorum not on the ballot in 5 states missing 700 delegates..it is mathematically impossible for either of them to secure the nomination, therefore a vote for them is a wasted vote..also, if Ron Paul does not secure the nomination Obama will win in Nov. Blue republicans blue dog republicans and many independants will only vote for Paul;they will not vote for Romney. Obama wins. Paul must secure the nomination in order for the Republicans to win in Nov. Also most 96% of Paul supporters will go 3rd party; they will not vote for Romney either. Obama wins! Please take this information into consideration before placing your vote tomorrow Feb 4th..it isn't anybody but Obama..it's Ron Paul only or Obama...any other combination and Obama walks back in for another 4 yrs..
