LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL
A Las Vegas constable's deputy and former Metropolitan Police Department officer was arrested Thursday on charges of statutory sexual seduction.
Clinton James Wood, 25, is facing two felony counts, according to Las Vegas police. Department spokesman Bill Cassell said he couldn't elaborate on why Wood was arrested because the charges involved a juvenile victim.
Las Vegas Constable Bobby Gronauer said Wood has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the criminal charges and an internal investigation. He is not currently in custody.
Wood has been with the office for 18 months, where he served as a warrant deputy serving justice court traffic warrants, Gronauer said.
Cassell said Wood was hired by the department in 2005 and left in early 2009.

HMMM seduction of a minor = Very bad. Officer Yant can I get some assistance here please!
Golly, it seems the only police action that can be ruled "justified" these days is shooting people.
Las Vegas Constable Bobby Gs entire office is corrupt. They just haven't caught up to the others yet.
Gronauer needs to be kicked out in November.
vegaslee, really pay attention, he was a former Metro officer.
Holy Smokes! Why is all this coming out now? You mean to tell me that they couldn't have put this stuff out BEFORE a giant PR campaign was needed? vegaslee... they do try to put him in conjunction with Metro in the story, you just have to read real close to understand that he was not a street cop. Thank goodness he wasn't a Metro officer, they have enough black eyes right now and many of them undeserved as of yet...
ionfield.... pay attention, he was NOT a Metro officer.
Do as I say, not as I do....
