The Clark County coroner’s office identified the three people who died early Friday morning in a crash at the southern interchange of Interstate 15 and the Las Vegas Beltway.

Nicholas Scheafer, 19, of Las Vegas and Tiffanee Anderson, 19, and Robert Inouye, 23, both of North Las Vegas, died at the scene from blunt force trauma to the head.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

The accident happened about 2:10 a.m. when the eastbound red Ford Mustang drove past road-closed signs and barricades onto the northbound I-15 ramp, which was closed for construction, the Highway Patrol said.

The car ran into five steel beams that were waiting to be installed, the patrol said.

The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed upon impact, and investigators did not know whether alcohol was a factor in the crash, trooper Chelita Rojas said.

The one thing we should all be thankful for is that a car load of drunk young adults didn't kill any innocent drivers or highway workers along with themselves. Did any of their friends at the party even think to stop them? We all know they were intoxicated, so who of you were really their friends? They killed themselves you couldn't have changed that but did you try?

Tiffanee Anderson was a great role model of mine, and a gorgeous girl. She had a multitude of great friends (Chelsea Venable and Danielle Nolan specially), many of which are amazing people. No one deserves to pass like this, especially a woman that would have changes the world. My regards and sincerest apologies to the Anderson family; My family continues to pray for your well being.

Danielle, and how much did they have to drink? It doesn't say who the driver was. Maybe they'll never know. The point is, alcohol affects people differently and COULD have caused a normally good driver to forget buckling up or be inattentive and reckless. Sorry about your friends. I'm sure the NHP will have more answers when they complete their investigation.
