A faulty water heater is being blamed for a fire that claimed the life of a man inside his business in western Arizona.

Authorities responded at 7:44 a.m. Thursday to the fire at Linda's Deli and Cafe in the Colorado River community of Golden Shores.

Mohave County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Trish Carter said the body of the business owner, Ronald Lee Hansen, 58, was pulled from the structure on south Oatman Road.

Carter said Hansen was apparently preparing to open for business and that foul play is not suspected.
