LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL
The 19-year-old son of District Judge Donald Mosley was arrested Friday on charges of reckless driving, jail records show.
Michael D. Mosley was arrested by the Nevada Highway Patrol in the misdemeanor driving violation. He had outstanding warrants for registration violations, unlawful acts of financial responsibility and three parking violations, records show.
A woman who answered the judge's phone Friday said Donald Mosley was out of the jurisdiction and had no comment.
The judge's son has been in trouble before.
In 2008, Michael Mosley faced criminal charges for his role in a Henderson crash that left a 15-year-old girl dead.
Michael Mosley was 16 when he was accused of racing David Jensen, also 16. Jensen crashed, and passenger Olivia Hyten was killed.
Prosecutors charged Michael Mosley with driving under the influence and possession of a switchblade knife. Prosecutors said there wasn't enough evidence to show he was street racing. His parents said his blood-alcohol content was 0.02 percent, the equivalent of consuming less than one beer.
Jensen crashed the Chevrolet Silverado pickup on a winding stretch of road on Grand Hills Drive . Hyten was partially thrown from the truck and died .
At the time, Michael Mosley was under court order to drive only to and from school and was prohibited from carrying other passengers inside his truck. The court order stemmed from a previous reckless driving case.

Oh what tangled webs we weave....! Our elected officials have worked in ernest to create thei "Us and Them" society. The rules do not apply evenly as they are required by the Constitution. This boy is the product of that type of society. Honestly there were very good reasons for our founding fathers to implement the laws they did.
Slap on the wrist coming up.
This young prackster should have spend time in jail, which I am certain he did not. He is on a collision course (pardon the pun) with disaster. There is nothing anyone can do.
Have you seen the history here the Dad (Judge) used this kid to get back at the kids mother so many times The Dad (Judge) used his political influence to get both him and his son out of trouble so many times Judge Mosley has more Ethics complaints (you should read all of them!! ) I except the Sun to run a positive article (they endorsed him and covered his tracks for years ) good job McCabe just be ready for the backlash this taker of life and money comes back with !! Mosley should retire before all is exposed...
Mosley's Kid was arrested on warrants for PARKING VIOLATIONS among other traffic warrants. This was the tickets that he had before and was making payments on. The Media blew this out of proportion and after I made some phone calls, Michael was released on his own recognizance. Stick to the facts people....this was all a bunch of BS....
Have you noticed how kid's of judges or other high profile people seem to always get into trouble? Why didn't daddy take care of the violations before they went to warrants? You know who I feel bad for are the parents of Olivia Hyten reading about this POS who lives on to wreak more havoc. Just how many reckless driving violations can you get as a fairly new driver and keep your drivers license?
Aside from the politics, this is very sad indeed.
41 comments, now 42..none positive.
Abortion should be legal until the age of 50.
"Happy New Year" to the previous 41.
Much like his old man he'll just mosley along through life.
Why even call the judge as his son is an adult. Why call daddy unless he is the boys attorney/get out of jail free card. My guess is he will plead guilty and be let off with a slap on the wrist, pick up some trash and done. He will retain his drivers license with no points taken off, no sr22. He will basically skate.
