3 people hospitalized after crash in North Las Vegas

Three people, including a pregnant woman, were hospitalized Wednesday morning after a crash in North Las Vegas.

The collision occurred about 7:45 a.m. near Lamb Boulevard and Craig Road, and involved a Ford Ranger pickup and a Toyota Corolla, North Las Vegas police spokeswoman Ann Cavaricci said.

Two occupants of the pickup, identified only as a man and a pregnant woman, were taken to University Medical Center with head injuries, and the driver of the Corolla was taken to North Vista Hospital, Cavaricci said. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

Southbound travel on Lamb and westbound travel on Craig is closed, Cavaricci said. She said drivers should avoid the area if possible.
