Patrick Olson, 41, was indicted Wednesday on charges that he sexually assaulted a girl between November 2002 and July 2010 in Overton.

The indictment charges Olson with four counts of sexual assault on a minor under the age of 14, six counts of lewdness with a child under the age of 14, one count of child abuse and five counts of possession of child pornography.

At the request of prosecutors, District Judge Linda Bell set bail at $1 million for Olson. His arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 16 before District Judge Michael Villani.

According to a Las Vegas police report, a detective interviewed the victim in July 2010. She told the detective she was sexually abused by Olson when she was about 9 or 10, according to the report.

Olson was in custody Wednesday at the Clark County Detention Center. According to records on the jail’s website, he was arrested July 30, 2010.

Let him be tried and convivted first. Then if he is found guilty, put him on the GP yard in pink stripes. I think they should do that to all cho mos.

When they find him guilty, hang him by his balls until dead then dump him out in the desert. No more to say!!!

Do not let him be segregated in the ChoMo wing of the prison. Put him in general population and make sure the others know what his crimes were.

I truly despise pedophiles and others that harm children. However, has it occurred that he is innocent until proven guilty? It has happened that peopled lied about these accusations.

Busted. These pedos think several years behind them, that they are safe from prosecution. It isn't ever safe. Ask any Pedo Priest, or Pop Singer, who has had to pay large settlements.
