Veterans ride mountain bikes on a trail during the Ride 2 Recovery Blue Diamond Mountain Bike Challenge on Monday. The three-day event, held to aid in injured veterans' recoveries, is sponsored by MGM Resorts International and UnitedHealthcare. Participants are scheduled to take different rides through the north Cottonwood Valley area of the Red Rock National Conservation Area based upon their riding ability. Bikes are provided to the veterans, and a three-night complimentary stay at Mandalay Bay is part of the trip. Ride 2 Recovery is a nonprofit organization. » Buy this photo
