Divorce papers were filed March 5 and sealed the same day, keeping secret such details as who filed.

There has been speculation that the divorce settlement could eclipse the $1.7 billion worth of assets media mogul Rupert Murdoch agreed to give wife Anna in their 1999 divorce. That deal included her receiving a reported $110 million in cash.

The Wynns split after the hotel developer's romance with a British divorcee, Andrea Hissom, went public this year. They met in 2008 on the Riviera, where he has a luxury yacht.

Steve Wynn, who turns 68 Jan. 27, and Hissom were seen Monday at the "Regis & Kelly Live" taping at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas.

There have been reports that Steve and Elaine Wynn each own more than 24 million shares in Wynn Resorts. Wynn Resort stocks have been hovering between $60 and $70 a share.

THE SCENE AND HEARD

More on the rumblings about major changes taking place in Cirque du Soleil's "Viva Elvis" show at CityCenter: The show is still on track for CityCenter's Dec. 16 opening, but there's talk that it might go on a three-week hiatus and return for a Jan. 8 Elvis extravaganza on what would have been The King's 75th birthday. At least one young Elvis actor has been dropped from the cast, I'm told.

A jaw-dropping celebrity scandal is on the brink of going public and it has ties to a local nightclub and New York City hot spot, the Griffin, now co-owned by former Pure Management Group managing partner Steve Davidivici.

SIGHTINGS

Duane "Dog" Chapman of "Dog the Bounty Hunter," at the early performance of "Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular" (The Venetian) on Monday in third-row center seats with his family. He was seen leading the standing ovation when the phantom (Tony Crivello) and cast came on stage. ... Playing their signature song, "Viva Las Vegas," UNLV's marching band opened the Sunday afternoon taping of the "Regis & Kelly Live" show by marching down the aisle at Encore Theatre. The UNLV cheerleaders joined Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa on stage. ... Jerry Springer, having a taco salad at Cabo Wabo (Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood Resort) on Friday.
