With model homes open, new home buyers have the opportunity to see what life could be like at Rhodes Ranch master plan, said Greg Stone, sales agent for the Irons, the community's newest neighborhood.

Rhodes Homes opened two models in The Irons. They measure from 1,467 and 1,611 square feet.

  • "This is the first completely single-story model complex in Rhodes Ranch," Stone said. "Single-story homes are very popular and when you see these models you'll understand why they are selling so quickly. The models highlight the vaulted ceilings, which create an especially dramatic effect in the homes."

Models at The Irons are shown decorated but not furnished to give prospective residents the opportunity to envision their own furnishings in each home.

"For some it is easy to see past the designer's vision for model homes, but for others it is easier to see the homes without furnishings," Stone said. "At The Irons, we allow you to see the spaces as they really are and envision your own decorating style."

Homes offer open rooms with vaulted ceilings up to about 15 feet in the great rooms and master baths.

The 1,467-square-foot residence features three bedrooms and two baths.

The 1,611-square-foot home offers four bedrooms and two baths.

The 1,931-square-foot floor plan is not modeled. It includes three bedrooms, two baths, a family room and a living room.

Standard features include finished garages, ceiling fan prewiring in bedrooms and common rooms, decorative 61/2-inch baseboards, rocker switches in all rooms and phone and cable outlets in bedrooms and common rooms.

Kitchens include recessed lighting, pantry and a breakfast nook.

    Prices start in the $200,000s.

"And because The Irons is in Rhodes Ranch, residents have access to amenities unmatched in any other master plan in Las Vegas," Stone said. The 35,000-square-foot community recreation center has dozens of indoor and outdoor activities for the whole family.

The Fun Zone Water Park offers slides, lap pools, spas and cabanas in addition to play areas and tennis, basketball and volleyball courts.

The Rhodes Ranch Golf Club was designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson. The par-72 course was named a "Best Value" by Vegas Golfer magazine.

Rhodes Homes has built more than 6,000 homes in the Las Vegas Valley during the past two decades and is currently developing 16 neighborhoods throughout the city.

To visit The Irons at Rhodes Ranch, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Durango Drive, and then go south to Rhodes Ranch Parkway.

The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
