When the Dunnings first decided to begin looking for a new home, their primary objective was to purchase in the southern portion of the Las Vegas Valley because it offered proximity to their places of employment.

The Dunnings moved into their new home in August and live just four miles from their employment centers. They said the floor plan fits their lifestyle.

"We love the fact that the kitchen and living room create a spacious great room," Jean Dunning said. "It makes entertaining and everyday living that much more convenient and really contributes to a sense of spaciousness throughout."

Brighton Village offers four detached, two-story floor plans ranging from 1,194 to 1,432 square feet with two and three bedrooms, 21/2 baths and direct access garages. Homes are priced in the low $200,000s.

Features include shutters, front-porch entries, fully landscaped front yards and private rear yards.

Homes offer living and dining rooms, kitchens, walk-in closets, interior laundry areas with optional overhead storage cabinets and one or more master bedroom suites.

The homes also feature mini-blinds on all windows and vertical blinds on sliding glass doors, a Whirlpool full-size washer and gas dryer, an 1,825-cubic-foot Whirlpool refrigerator, oak cabinetry with adjustable shelves and a Whirlpool appliance package with a multi-cycle dishwasher and range with sealed burners.

The community also features a pool and cabana.

The Dunnings said they are looking forward to enjoying these resort-caliber amenities, which is managed by a homeowners association.

To visit, from Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, exit at Windmill Road and go west to Maryland Parkway. Turn left (south) on Maryland Parkway for three miles.

The sales office and model homes are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except for Wednesday when they open at noon. For more information, call 407-2495. warmingtonhomesnv.com.
