Richmond American touts prices at Cantata

Richmond American's Cantata offers homes ranging from about 1,300 to 1,750 square feet with prices starting at under $200,000.

"Cantata is a small, intimate community with only 33 home sites, which gives it a more exclusive feel," sales agent John Bowenkamp said.

  • "We're in the early phases, so there's great availability if you act now. The neighborhood is located in a nice, established area, and we offer great access to both U.S. Highway 95 and Interstate 15. Our prices are very competitive, starting at only $199,990 for a 1,300-square-foot home, and the backyards are a good size for this area.

"Our four-bedroom homes -- the Ranier and Lapin -- are especially popular with buyers. The Lapin is unique because it offers dual master bedrooms, and people love that option."

Cantata offers four two-story floor plans from Richmond American's Cherry Lane Collection. Two three-bedroom homes are available, each with 21/2 baths.

Priced from $199,990, the Mahogany is a 1,300-square-foot home with a living room, powder room, kitchen and nook on the main floor.

The 1,450-square-foot Lambert is priced from the low $200,000s and features an open layout with a great room, dining room and kitchen. Both homes include features like a food-preparation island in the kitchen, an upstairs laundry room and an optional loft.

Priced from the $210,000s, the Ranier is a four-bedroom home offering 21/2 baths in 1,550 square feet. It has high ceilings at the entry, which leads into the great room. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and is adjacent to the dining room.

Upstairs is the master suite with private bath, three secondary bedrooms and a full bath.

A loft is available at the center of the second floor, in lieu of one of the bedrooms.

The largest plan is the Lapin, featuring four bedrooms and 21/2 baths in 1,750 square feet.

The main floor features an open layout that includes a great room, kitchen with a food-preparation island and a dining room.

The second floor features a master bedroom suite with master bath, three secondary bedrooms and a full bath. One of the bedrooms can be selected as a bonus room or a second master bedroom with private bath.

To visit Cantata, take Interstate 15 to the Lake Mead exit and go east. Go south on Pecos Road, east on Owens Avenue and north on Gateway Road. For more information, call the sales center at 289-1734.
